These are 1:1 sessions for those who feel the multiple crises of the world in their bodies and hearts; a revolutionary act of returning affection and fascination to the living territory that has always sustained us:

  • Do you simply want to remember symbiotic and responsible threads of relationship and belonging with the non-human?
  • Do you feel the anguish, doubts, and fears of the multiple crises we are going through, and feel that you have no one to anchor your grief? Do you feel that it is a taboo subject?
  • Do you feel that you cannot discern where the pain or grief comes from?
  • Do you feel that it is not valid to feel such intense and diffuse emotions?
  • Do you have difficulty managing the most dense ecological emotions?
  • Are you concerned that your ecological anxieties are perceived as burdensome or depressing to those around you?

Without fear or judgment, we talk about what hurts, but what seems distant or far away (or right at our door step) — climate crisis, mining, fires, loss of biodiversity, ecocide, or genocide.This is a space for effectively connecting internal and external landscapes.A welcoming place to rescue exiled and silenced abilities, internal resources that help us mature and go through collective grief.

The Eco-Therapeutic sessions focus on the following dimensions:

Eco-anxiety, ecological, cultural, and global grief;

~
Forging interpersonal and body-place relationships that are ecological and resilient;

~
Re-signifying responsibility and reciprocity with the natural world;

~
Effectively welcoming and rescuing exiled and silenced capacities, the internal resources that help us mature and go through collective grief.

The guidance for these sessions comes from a multidisciplinary background and practices:

The virtual walls of each session are porous to let nature in and resonate with:

With gentleness, kindness, and humor, we navigate through the densest ecological emotions, such as shame, anger, anguish, anxiety, fear…

Through the living and connecting web, to place and body, we open rage and courage to: generously welcome difficult emotions; Sharing; Patience; Humility; Forgiveness; Kinship; Symbiosis; Complementarity; Dealing with polarity, ambiguity, and paradoxes; Connection vs. fragmentation; Caring with affection; Offerings and Listening with devotion.

Ecopsychology, interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary, is one of the various foundations of these Eco-Therapeutic Accompaniments (*). This is a recollection of languages of affection to trace the relationship between people and nature ⸺ through ecological, mythical, and psychological principles. We navigate together through the psychological, somatic, historical, and cultural processes that connect us and distance us from nature. It differs from conventional psychology in that it focuses on nurturing the emotional connection between humans and the Earth—body, ecosystems, and biomes.

By nurturing a deeper connection with nature, we can experience greater emotional resilience, developing and strengthening the ecological ego—awakening the inherent sense of reciprocity and responsibility.

This is an artistic and ritualistic process of recovering bio-psycho-physical wisdom and intelligence, where we can remember other ways of being human. Cosmic-chthonic practices of deep listening between the identity forged by culture and that nurtured by cosmic ecology, where we find ourselves and of which we are a part.

Listening to the stars and the ground, not to conclude or solve, just to listen. These are iterative and diverse accompaniments, where availability and commitment are the most important.

(*) Eco-Therapeutic Sessions are not, nor do they intend to be, Ecopsychology consultations, but a space for artistic, multi- and transdisciplinary listening practices.
